Its mixed down to a very low volume. This is an energetic song, you should consider raising the master volume. I have the volume all the way up on my headphones right now, and im having trouble hearing some parts. Also the timpani and other drums have way too much mid and low end. I would eq the loud junk frequencies out of them. Other than that it was pretty good. I've never personally heard the original, but your composition definitely sounds like it did it justice.

A remake of "Trees In The Depths Of The Earth" from "Kirby Super Star" on SNES.
In case you are wondering, this is 1 of the 2 main themes that play at all times during "The Great Cave Offensive" game. It also plays on the "Hotbeat" stage in the "Milky Way Wishes" game.
This is technically my first full, non 8-bit remake. Normally I create remixes of various video game songs, but when it comes down to any Kirby soundtrack, I don't consider myself talented enough to properly remix a song, and make it interesting, or even any good. Those tracks are phenomenal. So I decided I would remake a song instead. It was still quite a task, but I'm proud of myself, more so that I was able to pull it off, rather than the way it turned out. Like most video game songs, this one loops twice. The Timpani goes hard in this song.
This song should be called "Trees In The Depths Of Pop-Star", because the game takes place on the planet Pop-Star, which is definitely not Earth

I actually turned the master volume to max. The problem though, is that when I was audio mixing, I was adjusting everything by lowering it. Not my best idea. I plan on fixing it at a later date
