Scraxor's Lament

This piece is from the original soundtrack of "Transformers: Renegades", a fan story being brought to life by myself, Joseph McMenimon Alpha and Angelos Mavromatis. It tells the story of the Decepticon-turned-Autobot corporal Shardripper and his team in their goal of bringing in a group of Autobot deserters led by the mysterious yet very powerful Scraxor, who possesses knowledge and technology the Autobots cannot afford to lose. A trailer for this story will be released sometime this month, hopefully; the film itself will be released in 4 parts over the course of the next few months. WARNING: the film as a whole will be rated R for language, cartoon blood and cartoon violence; viewers, be advised.

Anyway, this piece is Scraxor's theme in the film, a short and sad piece that I hope might give you a feel for his personality on the inside. While Shardripper is officially the main protagonist, and Scraxor officially the main antagonist, I do not aim to write the narrative that one is truly good and the other truly evil; I will treat the two both as multi-dimensional and flawed characters in their personalities, and so leave it to the viewers to decide who they feel is right. Anyway, this piece uses the leitmotif of the song "Warriors" by Imagine Dragons, because I feel the lyrics of the original piece make for an accurate reflection of the dynamic between Scraxor and Shardripper, as will be evident in the movie, especially in the later parts. Anyway, I really enjoyed making this piece, and I hope you enjoy the piece. Be sure to check out "Transformers: Renegades" when it releases; I would say it's probably the best story I have ever written!

Aside from the aforementioned use of the leitmotif of "Warriors" by Imagine Dragons, any resemblance between this work and any work not produced by me is purely coincidental.
