Another midi that I made. This one is inspired by Amalgam from Undertale. Here I mainly tried going for some confusing syncopated stuff, and I really wanted to implement an odd time sig again as I did in Balance. It starts off with major diads ascending in G Ionian and ending with the 7th. This is later complimented by bass lines and an acoustic guitar part. Afterwords I decided to use 5/4 to make the next section and ended up making a cool atmospheric section, which is where I left rooms for a guitar, synth, and drum solo. The drum solo was pretty tricky as I have never written one before and I didn't know how to approach it, it may not sound the best though, but I'd like to hear your criticism on it (and criticism in general as a song). After this 5/4 section I quickly went back to the main section and there I finished it off with a small drum solo. I'm pretty proud of this midi and I feel like it's my best midi so far.
