The track has no loops or anything like that. All drums made from single shots. Vocals are all mine. Synths are all mine. There are a little bit of SFX like water drop I took from Freesound.org. For sound effects. But I also made SFX by myself. The drums samples are freebies from various sample shops. But also mixed with random stuff like rocks/door-slams and such again taken from Freesound.org. And also mixed with synths stuff I made myself.

Track started as experimental thing with several sounds blending together in some specific way. You can hear that start of the song is that kind of pulsating bass sequence. And then the other melody sounds you hear are actually blended in. This is best hearable between main sections and in the end. When sounds like affect each other, distorting each other. All the melody sounds except the heavy bass(that plays when drums starts) are blended together in that specific way. Which sounds a bit like they are played through some old radio.

The track is also available in streaming services like Spotify, Deezer. And on stores like Google play, iTunes(wasn't there when I checked yet but it may take time when track appears), Amazon

Also you can buy mp3 on bandcamp too: https://bixenter.bandcamp.com/track/exoplanet

this song is fucking sick dude awesome job and keep up the good work.

GameBalance responds:

thanks :)
I will keep it up until I can :)

It's kind of stale. What I mean by that, is that the drop needs more IMPACT. But other than that, it's very clean and noice. Overall, 4.5!

GameBalance responds:

Hard to say. I am not sure. What if you are talking about the sound like Skrillex stuff? That's too much for me.
I would try to make like overdistorted bass version but not on my old PC. Maybe in future if I buy new computer before I die or lose my hearing.
P.S.
I did not write it here but on my old PC this song takes a lot of time to render. Over hour. So if I change something, I will need to render a chain of several projects for a hour+ to hear the final outcome. And to make such thing it might need to render it several times to get the desired result. With this song it's not like, "oh lets change the bass or snare and see the outcome". So I would not do anything unless it's something 100% worthy to try and desired by fans(Do I even have any? XD)
P.P.S
Oh and by the way. Do you have sub playing like down to 20hz? Because a lot of speakers don't play below 50-60hz. The lack of low subs might be the impact you are looking for. I am not sure, but maybe.

I like it. Pretty cool.

GameBalance responds:

Thanks!

Sick build up, the panning on the bass and the heavy reverb on the vocal hits / crashes creates a really nice atmosphere. I like the vocal part here, but sorta wish it was an octave lower (or was doubled up with a lower part) all the way through the eq sweep before the drop.

Main part is solid. 8-bit lead has some crunchy goodness, and the vocals work really well here.

I liked the heavy reverse effect around the 2 minute mark, but it is overwhelming in the lower mix. I thought the attack was a little behind when the string pad first came in, but it eventually blended in nicely.

Good work bringing the main part back. Those high synths at the end could probably be more prominently featured

Fade out was dope. You definitely have a catchy, nicely produced tune here. Solid stuff.

GameBalance responds:

It's hard for me to predict how the stuff will sound around and how right it would be for side listener. Hope I can get more experience.
Oh and if by reverse effect you mean that melodic sound like that coming from fade in(it also plays in the outro). Then it's the best thing where it is possible to hear the feature of the cross distorting sound. All those sounds that play in the melody(except for bass that playing on main beat, and strings) are like distorting each other.

This wasn't bad, man! I love the echo effect on the background voices, in the beginning especially, and the main synth melody that joins in every once in a while, climbing up and down; reminding me of old 8bit boss battles... the build up's good, the pace is rythmic and easy to vibe to, the main phrase is catchy too... I might have the wrong impression of trap music, but I always considered it more of a structure of rap than of dance/trance music, which this seems to be. But not bad. Good melody, good variation; thorough quality.

GameBalance responds:

Well. I could not think of category to label it other than trap. It also can be described as alternative or indie electronic I guess.
