Hey! To start this decade right, we believe Newgrounds should be ad-free for EVERYONE. For this to work, we need people who have the means to become paying supporters. For just $3 per month or $25 for the year, you can help this happen and get some nice perks!

For the month of January we have disabled ads on all E-M content. We need 204 people to reach our January goal of 3,000 active supporters. If we hit that, we'll continue with a new goal in February!

Please check out our Supporter Upgrade and consider coming aboard!

You can get extra contents at Gumroad (Check out the second link!) for just one buck or two (literally). You will get the original menu, the alternate key, the hum-along version (no lead melodies), and a ringtone. We will also save you the hassle and make all the freebies linked in this description available there! We also sell the royalty-free license of this menu (music track) for those who wants to use it for your commercial contents (unless your content is Newgrounds exclusive. You are good to go in that case!).

Otherwise, our original menus are for free! Do not "buy" them from anyone else.
And if you have time, a review, even a negative one, is highly appreciated!

I like the funky sound design and jazzy rhythmic details. Has a nice sense of atmosphere and flow, too. The mixing is a bit quiet, but I like the mini-breakdown at :25 and the subsequent injection of energy at :40. The rich chords at 1:07 help keep things engaging, and the melodic content later on helps wrap things up nicely. The modulation at 2:18 was an interesting idea for the coda, but you could've done a bit more with that section before it looped imo. Still, strong work here, Noisy! Really fun and danceable track. ^^

Noisysundae responds:

"I actually think I overused the mini-breakdown now that I listen to it again. About the last section, I got burnt out and decided to go with the "I'm done" type of ending. No regrets. :P

And the loudness...my current approach is to have the loudest section at -16 LUFS (that means the overall average will always be lower than -16). One of the reasons was that I also make piano solo pieces, and they'd be much louder than this menu if I just use the whole thing as the reference point." — The Manager

Very nice. The song has a lot of funk into it with the synths. I really like the fact that the harmony part changes overtime, but the melody however changes 2x less than harmony, which is something that kinda bothers me. Since it's a loop track, I won't dis the repetitively too much because it's supposed to do that. On a side note, this sounds extremely similar to one of those Persona game series I have no idea why. It's a good series though with Undertale and Just Shapes & Beats tier soundtracks. I enjoyed listening to this track and can't wait to see how you improve. Tecrin approves! :3

Noisysundae responds:

"Actually, arranging a section with the same melody and a different chord progression is a common trope, especially in a remix. I agree that it doesn't work with every melody, though, but I was fed up trying to come up with new melodies for this menu." — The Manager

Miss Flora, a refined lady of beauty and class...and she'll destroy anyone when it comes to a funky dance off. :P

This is really good! Totally sounds like an awesome character theme taken straight out of a video game or an anime. Your production values keep going up and I'm happy to keep on listening.

1:14 - 1:31 is one of my favorite parts, and right afterwards the mix of horns and techno remind me of Jamiroquai, one of my favorite bands.

Looking forward to the next Sundae. :D

Noisysundae responds:

"Thanks as usual. Ironically, 1:14 - 1:31 is the exact place I got stuck for days making this thing. The lead synth (and the horns which is just the same lead synth with a chorus effect) was supposed to be a saxophone playing, but I tried to find a free sax plugin that has a suitable sound to no avail. In the end, I said "Screw that, I'll do a blatantly fake one.". :P" — The Manager
