This is underrated =)
This is yet another project of mine that has been sitting in FL studio begging to be completed for months. For approximately 6 months it was about 90% complete, but something just didn't feel right about it. So I put off finishing it until now, when I finally took the time to sit down and make it into what it is today. The Legend. Toby Fox. The reason I remake all of these Undertale/Deltarune songs is to simply pay homage to his compositional ingeniousness. I hope that in doing so I will begin to think in a similar fashion to him, and ultimately gain insight into how he creates such emotionally packed music. Toby Fox is the greatest video game musician of all gaming history (in my opinion). Even though his music might not be the best songs ever, the purpose of his music is to evoke emotion in the player. Most of these emotions I cannot even describe. The real beauty of his work lies in the accompaniment that his music provides to help tell a story. So, thank you Toby Fox for giving millions of gamers a great experience.
As always, thank you for your time and listening.
Let me know what you think, and have a great day :)
This is underrated =)
Not bad, just wished you chose some other instruments to give it a different feel from the original :) Not saying that’s necessarily a bad thing, as the original is amazing lol
This clearly has some time put into it, however the tempo and odd drop towards the start needs some work. Other than that its decent.
Dat tempo change doe. As with many undertale/deltarune songs, I'm not familiar with the original, but regardless, it is very well composed. Toby is one of the best and has talent on par with my dudes Dave Wise, Howard Drossin, and Koji Kondo. Now I'm just waiting on you to use this mindset to make an original composition just as epic. I know I couldn't pull it off, but you sure could
You may only use this piece for commercial purposes if your work is a web-based game or animation, otherwise you must make specific arrangements with the artist.
