Here's a more rock-oriented song I composed early on in 2019 for a commission. I wanted to kind of tell a story to the listener, though what kind of story that is is up to them. I personally imagine going on a worldwide adventure, running across the landscape as the sun is setting, not really knowing what the future holds but leaving fate to the heavens.
It's easily one of my favourite songs I've ever written, & I've written a lot!

I used dual "Shreddage 2" tracks for the rhythm guitars & drums, with some basic compressions settings to really get the beat rolling along.
For the piano parts I used "XLN Addictive Keys". It's such a clean & crisp sound that I use it in almost all my pieces.

The 2 lead guitars are the "Stratocaster Overdrive" & "Ultimate Guitar Kit v2" soundfonts. They've got some amazing pre-amp tonality, & I love using them in almost all my rock & metal songs.

& lastly, the backbone is grounded by "Furia Staccato Strings" & the amazing "GMS" VST packaged with FL Studio 20.
