Ever since I first heard Arcade's remix of Maruv and Boosin's "Drunk Groove" (featured in his video "How to make an EDM song like Drunk Groove"), I knew I wanted to make a song like it. And, now? I finally took the opportunity to do so.
My song is a bit faster than Drunk Groove, shorter, and doesn't have any vocals on it. I wanted to put some vocal samples on this, but nothing I found fitted what I want. Also, the guitar is more pronounced in my version.
Overall, I'm actually pleasantly surprised at the kind of feel the finished work had. The final product, IMO, is quite groovy, and actually had me dancing in my chair the whole way through production. A far cry from what I initially planned when I started this. The key of this song is G minor, and the inspiration that decided that choice is actually a rather negative one, which, honestly, could jeopardize my future and the future of this channel (I might discuss this further in the future, but uncertain). Overall tho, I like the song it turned into, and I'm not gonna throw it away. Hope you enjoy!
