First audio I'm posting here in about five years, and it just so happens the 3/4 sections are a remake of a piece I published here in 2014, called Rough Seas (since unpublished). That was genuinely unintentional.
Anyway; while I love playing the piano, it's less often that I want to write solo pieces for it. Usually the results feel a bit hollow... But in this case, with the melody starting at 0:46 being so simple, I didn't want things to get too cluttered.
The piece has a new title because, while I was thinking about how to do the 4/4 parts, I realised you could give them the lyrics "Take me to the bridge and drown me". The last two words are a little too edgy for my stuff, not sure why they popped into my head, but overall the rest of the phrase made for a decent title.
SampleTank's pianos sound good, but even with the inbuilt effects available, I'm never sure about the mixing, especially since the plugin always ends up quieter than everything else in OMPT... And while I notice the left ear usually gets louder, I can't really do anything about that without it sounding strange. Feedback would be appreciated.
MADE USING:
