Beit friendship triangles, love triangles, or whathaveyou... They never work in the ones I've been pulled into because someone always resents another, while the middleman just sits there and watches the arguments, backhands, and cold shoulders unveil.

Sometimes, it makes you want to smack the resentful one with a steel bat and spread their stupid blood across the floor in hopes that the vitriol ends... But at the same time, you can't do anything to intervene despite there being evident problems that refuse to fix themselves in the relationship, not to mention what relational damage it'll do to you, or how even more blame will be pinned or friends who you wanted to stay with will be taken away. Or the intentional lack of concern and commitment in the triangle with only 2 sides.

It's incredibly rare for a friendship triangle to work, but I have yet to experience one.
