I like the cute synths and energy at the beginning. The harmonies at :10 are creative, too. I like the chromatic motion there. The mix is a bit quiet, though, and I think it would’ve been nice to switch up the instrumental hierarchy at some point in the piece. Introducing some new instruments, or including an atmospheric section or minimal breakdown would’ve given the piece a stronger sense of structuring and variety. I think the main melodies could also use some more variation. The piece has a nice retro sound, and the blissful mood and interesting harmonic inflections keep me engaged. I especially like what you did with the transition at 2:36 and the looped bit. Overall, the piece could use some more structural variety and shape, but my other complaints are minor. Keep at it, lokimiah1! :)
