"No more fooling around, it's time for the knockout-round!"

So here is my take in the Knock-Out round of NGUAC 2019
130 BPM, and with a kind of similar feeling to my audition track.
Like that one, this is also a house track. Let's see how this will end up going!

AND NOW THE LIST OF THINGIES USED IN THE TRACK:

VSTs and presets used:
Massive - Air Conditioned (First Lead)
Serum - [PL] Dyk Pyk (Pluck chords at drop build up)
Sylenth1 - Self-made patch (Backround arpeggio, can be heard clearly at 2:12)

Reason Rack Extensions: Europa (drop lead), Radical Piano (pianos, duh xd) Rytmik Drum Machine (main drums)

Every other instrument + all the effects are from Reason's built in device selection, and the presets (if used) are from the Factory Soundbank ReFill.

And the Vocals are made with a text-to-speech voice generated at this website: https://tetyys.com/SAPI4/
I used the BonziBUDDY Voice :D

I like the fun rhythmic elements at the beginning and the cute, airy synths. The crashes and some of the other percussive sounds are a little too hard-hitting, though, especially on the downbeats. Over-compression is a likely culprit. The progression is enjoyable, but very slow-paced. I was itching for some more melodic content and textural fill at times. The riff at 1:32 is catchy, but could use a little more variety in the rhythm department. I also think the kick could’ve been a bit stronger there. There are several awkward and extended pauses in the piece, notably at 2:05. The vocals at 2:27 sound a bit cheesy, and the structure of the piece is pretty drawn-out. During the drops, there isn’t a lot of bass in the texture, and I wanted to see you incorporate more harmonic variety in the piece, especially towards the end when the piece gets quite repetitive. Overall, the arrangement of the piece could be a little more coherent, and there were times when I wanted the harmonies to have more depth, but I do like the rhythmic components, instrumentation, production quality, and melodic content. Keep at it, EppuJoloZ! :)
