“Chemicals In My Head” was the first single of the Mind Powers EP. I had the idea for this song for about 2 months before actually getting the courage to make it reality. I had struggled with inhalant addiction back in February, March, and May of 2019 and I wanted to create a unique song discussing it. The first verse is told from the point of view of my “conscience” and it is mainly about temptations and ignoring help. The second verse is from the point of view of Tony Davis The Rapper himself as he was with me through the whole incident. The intro vocals are actually a sample of a video I found on YouTube. Thinking it was clever to use them, I did.
