This was actually supposed to be a vaporwave track originally, but then I kinda went double time on it and it got bonkers.

I was experimenting with detuning on the cassette deck, the beat vibes quickly turned dark (even though the song is mostly in Major), so it felt natural to go the DnB route on this one. Big time East coast vibes with the heavy sidechained beats on this track.

There's something fun about subverting the notion that Lo-Fi beats need to be chill and relaxing :)
