It's Day 8 of 40 Days of Struggle. My head aches, I can't concentrate and my primary thought is "to hell with everything". Nevertheless, today's track is out! I've decided to get back and try a bit more synthwave so here goes. Enjoy!

I like the catchy synths at the beginning. The chord progression is a little cliche, and I wish the drums were both louder in the mix and more creative. I also would’ve liked to see some more original sound design and structural variety here. The energy level is almost constant throughout the piece, and overall the composition just needs more fleshing-out. Still, nice work with the rhythmic components, harmonies, and rich texture. Keep at it, DaveSlayer! :)

DaveSlayer responds:

Thanks for a comprehensive overview! Getting feedback is rare these days, I'll do my best to improve! :3

Idea is veeeery interesting and it could be awesome track.
But now it needs to be produced better - for example drums sound is to weak and simple.

DaveSlayer responds:

Thank you for your feedback! Learning to produce things better is exactly why I picked up the 40 Days challenge, and I'm gonna keep your suggestion in mind.

Nice :)
