An ancient weapon of unknown origins was discovered by a group of Archaeologists in the late Summer of 2011. The weapon, later named "Shatterblade" was modified using cybernetic enhancements which allowed it to cut through nearly any material with a single swipe. Particles excreted from the blade would cause the object to shatter into near-microscopic fragments, which gave the illusion that the object was melting. Deemed too deadly and inhumane, and to prevent it from falling into the wrong hands, the weapon was locked away, until now. A Scientific breakthrough was made 8 years later which allowed the technicians to upgrade and contain the Sword's deadly power. The "Shatterblade Mk. II" is currently being mass produced in a secret facility, but will not be available to the general public.
