Even if the Recorder was bought to accompany the song 'The Upgrade: Part 2', I didn't entirely think of the consequences and mental restrictions the instrument would bring... Let alone the wave of depression that hit me the moment I put it together and couldn't even bring myself to blow into the damn thing without being so afraid of everything around me.

Had I've gotten a Melodica instead, I could have jumped into playing it instead of learning an entirely different playstyle and having to endure the abhorrent trial-and-error that the Recorder is, unfortunately, notorious for. What's the point of buying an instrument you can't even play?
