Hey! To start this decade right, we believe Newgrounds should be ad-free for EVERYONE. For this to work, we need people who have the means to become paying supporters. For just $3 per month or $25 for the year, you can help this happen and get some nice perks!

For the month of February we have disabled ads on all E-M content. We need 194 people to reach our goal of 3,100 active supporters. If we hit that, we'll continue with a new goal in March!

Please check out our Supporter Upgrade and consider coming aboard!

I cant really tell if I like it or not

music is all about intent. no musical choice is inherently bad, as long as you make it clear to the listener that you are commiting to that decision. with this in mind, is the whole phasing/desync thing intentional? I cant tell if at times you're just genuinely out of time, or you were phasing the whole couple of seconds and I just didnt catch on. if this is what you're going for, try keeping one of the parts more consistent, as a grounding level so that it sounds intentional that the other one is going nuts

another comment is that the little pulse that you have going the whole track (the part playing the chords) can be quieter once the moving melodic parts come in. you've already established it into the peice so it's better to let it fall back so the melody can take the spotlight.

tl;dr I cant tell if you're phasing on accident or on purpose, make your intentions clearer within the peice (sounds abstract but I mean it)

I like this a lot. It's expressive and sounds like the soundtrack to a dream or memory. Keep experimenting, if you keep on this route you could create something really special.

How is it? Not good.
I may be rude, but man - it sounds rubbish. Music theory indeed is still a thing, and I think that it would've been better if you learned it.

Belthagor responds:

Update: Tbh I thought the 3 vsts overlap was a bit too much, and have replaced it with one of the vsts cut out.
