"Genesis" is track 1 from my "Genesis" EP - a collection of my early demos.

"Genesis" is the first demo I wrote which secured me my first major game OST job. It was the track that started everything!

Well made composition. Bright and cheerful. Lovely hints of old dos game tracks and celtic inspiration as the previous comment said. I like the ending the most, and I look forward to playing the game when it's out. :D The retro games usually have a melodic line with mildly annoying sounds in it though, but the tracks are well made so you don't really notice it. I love the little hints of Celtic inspiration in the melody - really gives it that old RPG feel. The percussion isn't what I'd expect, but fits nicely and that driving bass is really nice. Love the part at 48 seconds! This song doesn't tire and definitely takes me back to my days of playing Sega Megadrive!
