Check out his cool arts and animationing. It's like music...you can....see...

Initially this was intended as A Bass Solo to reference the following dude https://twitter.com/you16_0823/status/1093877641944289280

A warning on the highs and lows that slapping the bass can take you to.

Then, me and Syrupmasterz decided you probably couldn't handle the amount of slap, and indeed pop I've got to give. So we watered it down to non-lethal levels. I mean, it's probably still dangerous, but all that dubstep and those tattoos probably makes you think you've got what it takes. Very well.

Also - I was to reference my very own track. https://www.newgrounds.com/audio/listen/582992 which is difficult, as once I complete a song, I spend 3-6 months unconscious and have no memory of the act of creation.

I also had to borrow a bass to do this, as my Bongo Bass has flatwound strings. So I borrowed a Fender Jazz Bass from a friend - think it might have been the Flea Signature Model. Unfortunately, I was ruled 'Too Funky' by the Court of Funk and have been forced to play Jazz ever since, but I do it...badly!

Also, some other stuff.

I like the frantic slap bass and drums. Very bizarre texture - energetic, yet also kinda minimalistic until :30 or so. I like the strong beat and structuring too. The orchestral hits add some nice flavor, and the production is also really clean. Overall, it feels both very innovative and very organic, which is a nice combo. Keep it up, Possibly! ^^

Possibly responds:

Thanks very much, glad you like it, I appreciate the kind words.

Well of course I wanted you to reference one of your own tracks! I gotta keep you on your toes somehow after all of this. haha

The drums really make this song. Even though I was totally after a bass-centric track, the constant thumping and variety of the drums and that organ you bring in towards the end is the reason I keep playing this song over and over to myself. :P

Of course, your bass playing is stellar. Especially since I now know it's all live recorded.

Top notch work man! :D
