hey boyos, girlios, and non-binarios

so this song has an interesting story behind it. for my music class, my teacher decided to give our class an in-class assignment to compose a song and share it at the end of class. i composed alone and *tried* to show the class a song project i had started in fl studio over the projector, but i had too many difficulties and the period was over and a lot of the class was leaving when i finally got it working, and i was pretty upset that only like half of them had heard even like 25 seconds of what i made.

so i evolved it mostly over the first few days of spring break from the 45 seconds or so that i already had at the end of that class period, but it took a lot longer than that to actually get it to the point where it was done, and a lot of it was due to me being busy with work for various things.

i usually use all my own samples (whether i recorded them, synthesized them, or both), but for this song, the piano came from a plugin called City Piano, which i believe is a free, sample-based plugin. i then put some delay and bitcrushing and etc. over it. hope it doesn't sound too much like trash
