edit: why does newgrounds screw up perfectly seamless loops?

I'm on a bit of a high so I thought I'd upload a new track :)

I've never really experimented with chiptune, 8-bit or loops, so here's a little something different from me. I'm really enjoying how everything becomes about the composition of the music in its raw state and how strongly the melodies shine through!

Feel free to use this for whatever projects you may want to, as long as you credit!

Nicely done. It's got a nice narrative quality and builds up in an interesting way. I see what you mean about the looping. It used to be so much better.

Cute piece! The tempo feels really slow for a VGM track, but I like the melodies and progression. It might've needed some drums to keep it moving along at times. I can picture this song as a menu tune for a game, though. My favorite element of the piece was the victorious vibe at :33 (and again at 1:40). That said, I was surprised when the upper voice in the chord at :46 didn't resolve down a semi-tone like I thought it would. Maybe I just need to unlearn cliches, but it still felt like you rushed into the section at :50 a bit. Anyway, I'm over-analyzing as usual. Fun piece, Jordi! I hope you'll continue to experiment with new genres and moods. :)

thank you so much <333

Wow, this is actually really cool, I'm not much into chiptune music, but I feel like I could pump this on my phones and listen to it any time.

Impressive work for a first try on this, I really liked how you used different styles. The song is really sweet and smooth in the beggining, but it escalades in a seamless manner to a very complex high point. Also loved the chod progression on this one (as usual, you're pretty good at choosing them), ut made the song feel very solid.

I love how you are always trying to learn more and are not afraid of experimenting, this is a great attitude!

This is very relaxing for the most part, and the ending is quite satisfying! I like the melodies and chord progression. My only gripe is that I feel that the two sections with the slower rhythm could be a little more interesting; they could benefit from some light countermelodies or flourishes. I think it's a good idea to have these rhythmically slower sections, but the sustained synths in unison don't sound very pleasant because there's naturally little expression. The addition of ornaments could alleviate that.
