This is amazing. I love the ending; I didn't expect that sound at all.
There have been some who have said that my use of percussion has been too limited over the years.
Well ...
I present to you: "Colosseum" and the height of battle on the sands -- famous gladiators fight to the death for Rome's glory.
Yeah, I just finished watching "Roman Empire" on Netflix and I was a little inspired by how great that show was! If you get the chance you should watch, or invite me over and we will watch it together!
I originally had monstrous brass playing in the background, but I decided to cut it as I thought it was too much for an intense fighting scene. Sometimes music is better when heard in the background.
This is amazing. I love the ending; I didn't expect that sound at all.
Awesome! I really wasn't sure what people would think about this, so I am very happy that you enjoyed it.
I love the dense, intimidating texture of the percussion. Even though this song is all drums, it still has a pretty nice sense of ebb and flow about it. Good work with the rhythmic content too, and the production is loud and clear. Keep up the good work, Bosa!
Yeah, I use a little syncopation here and there to give it a more dynamic feel, and I refuse to let a composition overlap itself.
I do intend to continue! Expect to hear a very large project coming soon in the future!
Awesome work :)
Thank you!
This is really cool! Oftentimes I'm not too fond of primarily percussive tracks, perhaps because they aren't varied enough. This piece, however, has great dynamics, variation and a progression!
I can totally see the scene you described while listening to the music :D
I'm the same way. I'm glad that you enjoyed this one!
