We as Christians need to examine ourselves every day, all day through God's Word. We need to humble ourselves before our awesome and wonderful Lord and love our neighbors like we love ourselves. This can be extremely hard to do if you aren't focused on Him throughout your day. Don't just get up and do your devotions and leave Jesus at home (figuratively). Remember that Jesus is the author and finisher of our faith. His finished work on the cross and His resurrection bring us salvation and security.
