Almost a year since the song and the contest. ;p
It's been a while, but I'm glad someone's still listening and enjoying it.
Thanks once more! ^_^
This is just outright impressive, the song, the mix is all great. Really fun song! Lots going on and catchy. Only thing that i would say i don't like would be the sound of the background pad piano chords. They sound too muddy and reverbed to me but that's just a personal opinion and really minor. It doesn't detract from the song at all, i still really liked listening to this. Good work!
Thanks man!
I'll try to sharpen them up next time when I use them. :>
Glad you enjoyed it. :)
I really enjoyed this, I added it to my favorites. I'm just curious, how long did it take you to make this awesome song? It sounds incredible. :)
Thanks for the comment! <3
Checked the project right now - 30h (including mastering].
I had a whole section which I didn't include, thought it would be too much. (There's always a part in my projects that didn't make it, ehrm)
I like the cute synths at the beginning and the dreamy pads. The melodic content is great, and the sound design is a lot of fun overall. The drums give the piece a lot of drive and energy. While this is a really fast-paced piece, there's a lot of structural variety and changes in the mood and texture, which I appreciated. This is a piece with a lot of character. The transition into 2:54 was really fun, too. Congrats on your success in the Cacophony! It's well-deserved. ;)
I guess this one had the best result, cause I didn't want to overcomplicate with everything (which is one of my main problems, I guess).
Glad you like the melodies and sounds overall. :)
... and once more, thanks for the reviews this afternoon, u made my day. <3
