Hey guys! This is a bit late, but we've got a new track out! We felt like writing some more complextro as it's just fun to write. This track was started as a side project to some bigger projects we've got going on, but ended up becoming our main focus when I just got super inspired.

I wanted this to have a somber and kind of bittersweet feel to it, having the piano introduce the main melody and then kick it up to 11 with my favorite z3ta Sandstorm lead take over for the build alongside the bass, giving the track a more "epic" feeling to it, if that's the word for it. The ethereal feel created by the pad and some of the FX was unintentional yet totally fits at the same time, we feel.

Though honestly, we just let ideas come down and we implemented them somehow, resulting in a track that may be too long for most (most of our SubmitHub rejections for promotion show this), but when we just let ourselves go, we can't help ourselves.

Incredibly powerful track! Nice leads and growls. I also liked the e-guitar and bass guitar involved, actually mixes really well with an almost cinematic and electro setting, what guitar plugin do you use by the way? I use Evolution Dracus.

However, I just feld that the melody just before the first drop had too much high end. Other than that, this is a real pleaser, you never fail to impress, keep it coming! ;)

Dylnmatrix responds:

Thanks man! We're really big Impact Soundworks supporters and we use Shreddage II SRP as well as Shreddage Bass 2. Haven't heard of Evolution Dracus though, so I'll definitely take a look at it as we can never have enough E-guitar options :D

And the Sandstorm lead I love has always been a tricky thing for high end. Lots of high mids and treble, but the way it does it in arps with a 3 octave range I end up loving, so it's a double-edged sword. Maybe that explains why I like pinch harmonics so much too lol
