i really like how you play a bit of a melodic line and then stop, giving it more weight just by adding more breathing room. But at the same time in this particular situation like in the first half of the song - drums alone are feeling a bit shy and in need of something to ... you know ... cover them up, maybe adding some harmony next time in these breathing rooms would make it better.

your melodies are great but in terms of working with the fl everything sounds really "squarish and robotic" look up a few tutorials on how to make things more organic and realistic that would really help to take your music to the next level, where your melodies could shine as they deserve ^^
