My piano teacher said: If you can't dance to a music, it's not worth playing. Of course it was in a context of playing a waltz but it touched me. Can I dance to my own music? Since I can only dance waltz I had to make a song in 3/4. It differs from my average style so it was exciting to produce and hopefully exciting to listen. Win-win.
