This piece is about a composer who is losing the use of his arm. It tingles so much he can hardly play the piano. He is also losing his sight and he is riddled with pain and needs blood thinners for he has had multiple pulmonary emboli. He sits at his piano and cries, not for feeling sorry for himself but at his demise as he knows it is near. This is his last hurrah.
