I LOVE THE CLOCK!
Suddenly a melody came up from my head, and that's how I started this song, at Christmas. Well...I guess this was the Santa's gift for me this year!
I don't know why. But while making this, I got emotional af and found myself completely lost in memories. Also, watching some big dj's live set, I missed the old electro, melodic tracks so much, not all the big room and psytrance things. That's why I tried the complextro-ish drop and lots of melodys, which was Inspired by Zedd and Krewella's songs. (Yeah, this song is really reminiscent of my favorite songs to me)
Making this song was harder than I thought, and I think it's because of the bunch of new things that I tried, such as trap part, mid-side eq, and vocal chopping. Also really tried to make the best sound quality possible, cuz I submitted this song to dj-nate's music competition.
Um...I think I don't have anything else to write here right now, maybe I'll write it later. So...Hope you enjoy this song!

I LOVE THE CLOCK!
Thanks...Kinda inspired by Zedd's songs. His song also includes clock sounds quite much.
Duudeee you're getting better!!! this is so fuckin dopeeee ^^ the last drop at around 3:00 motivated me so mucchhh! I wasn't expecting that kick-ass drop ahahah
I love the lil voices in 2:30 and the sad melody at the beginning is great too.
Keep it up man, keep making music!
As for advice, I'm not saying it's a bad thing necesarily, but it has very different and oposite emotions, so that makes it kinda hard to listen to, cuz I think some people want to listen to sad music and I personally like motivating music, so if you mix the too you "scare off" both. For example, I'd put this in my playlist if it didnt have the sad part. but I replayed the drop like 3 times heheh. cya :^)
Hehe....Thanks, Comments like this really motivates me to keep making music.
And personally, I like the songs that has multiple styles in it, which could also be the multiple genres. So...Yeah, I think I'll keep my song's styles like this.
This is easily one of the best tracks in DJ-Nate's contest especially for the melodic value of it. The melodies are so inanely good. The effort and variation on this entire track is mind-blowing.
The drop seems 100% mono for some reason tho. The song goes from feeling quite full
and clear into a Monobox of sound for the drop. I know it can make things hit harder
but the sudden change is a bit weird. (example at 1:30)
Vocal slices are awesome, sound design is awesome, the melodies are awesome.
AMAZING track!
I didn't set the track to mono or something like that, but gotta use some stereo sounds more next time. Also, THANKS SO MUCH FOR THE REST OF THE REVIEW...I seriously didn't expected to get any review like this, especially about the sound design (tbh, most of the sounds I used were the harmor's presets xP). I really should learn about how synth works :D
I think it undeniably sounds better than all your other songs, its an amazing work ! hopefully nate will notice you :D You made progress on every fields ... I think the 2:12 -> 2:55 part can be considered as the most "finished" one because its totally flawless, I dont see improvements to make. In comparison, the part at 1:35 could be more dynamic because it sounds too repetitive and empty for a drop part.
Thanks for the feedback :D
Good, but kind of empty sounding at some parts. What I would recommend would be some extra reverb on the strings, piano. Only in the kind of empty spaces, though.
Also, I would recommend that you bring your drums up in the mix a bit.
Longer rises and impacts would be a nice addition as well.
I do think that this is very unique. It isn't really ever repetitive, which is good for a 4:30 song. I really liked from 2:53 to 3:54.
Kinda thought of extra reverb on strings, but I didn't do it because the strings' release gets too long if I do it. Thanks for your feedback, anyway! I'll try to make a drums louder next time. Glad you enjoyed the song :D
