That’s really good man
I found a strategy for making drops! It's hard to put into words, but I'll try, just because it is way too cool.
So basically, think of a drop as a bunch of bars (measures). Each of these bars can, over the course of each bar, either build up tension, release tension, or both. The typical structure that I've seen is this: 3 bars in which tension is at first released and then brought back, and one bar where tension is only built up. Repeat that structure with different noises basically 4 times, and you've got yourself a crazy wobfest. :)
If you want to try to listen for this pattern in other songs, I recommend first trying it out in a more obvious example of what I'm talking about, Extra Terra and Urbanstep's "Lost in Time" (Evilwave remix): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vuSXPIDgXew
So yeah. Let me know what you think in the comments, please!

Really Cool! Your most original piece. Only a few things:
At 00:07, something needs to happen, maybe a hat pattern or some thing.
The buildup is great.
The predrop vocal is umm... interesting?
The drop is a wee bit empty, but really cool
At 01:48, the snare is a little off-pitch.
Good things:
2:22. No more said.
The second drop is much cooler.
The beat is fast-paced and fun.
The choir pad adds excitement.
The melody is original.
Overall, really really good.
Thanks so much! :D
this is interesting. i really like the melodies and chord progressions in the first minute. the build up was decent, but i feel like the drop was empty. it could've used a lot more sound effects, and overall maybe brought back some of the melodies from the beginning. i definitely see potential though, and if you work on your drops some more, you'd have some really good stuff. the structure of the drop is good, just needs more to it, because it kinda feels empty, but everything else is really good :))
Yeah, I thought the drops were empty too. The second drop wasn't as awkward for some reason though. Maybe I'll have to find a buildup method too! xD
