Week 18 of my weekly verse project for 2017... or as I so creatively called it: Project 2017. I'm picking out a few of my favorites from the start of the year and uploading them here in these last days before it's over, but if you want to hear all they are all here: https://cyberd.org/p2017
Feedback's always appreciated, though note I didn't spend all that much time editing these, so sound quality may vary.

The weeks they blaze by! Today's the day I:
Had some free time so I thought I'd say my mind,
Summer's nigh but the breeze doesn't fly outside
I guess it's time to type a while and I smile because
This afternoon you can be dead certain
I'll be outside sipping sunshine closing them curtains,
First two days of this week I've been at home working
Getting things done on my site until the heat burst in
And burns my skin like it's acid! That's it!
I'm going to take a zero degree bath! what's this Madness!
It's just the start of May but this is savage!
Used to be snow on the ground now I can't go out with a jacket!
Yesterday I went jogging and started feeling dizzy...
Saw someone in the distance and wondered: who is he?
I didn't know him and I didn't care to catch up,
Sunshine man! Don't get too much of that stuff.
Meanwhile I wonder how they're living in Miami,
Desert all around that town and then there's that damn heat,
And I complain that I can't sleep, even though our night's are cold,
And I still have my damn sheets
Maaaaan these weekly verses are my pitch now!
In rich sound! They're going down without a hitch now!
I had computer issues buuut it's all fixed now!
Reinstalled Windows so it's fast like a fixed cow!
I wish now! It'd be colder but I know that if it was,
I'll wish it was summer again and that's because:
The grass is always greener on the otherside but like that genius commercial they show over 'ere:
It's cause they use INSERT GREAT BRAND NAME'S lawn mower.
Winter's been a bit of gray and a bit of snow,
I guess it's time to say hey man you gotta go and get ready
For the pinnacle of all the fourth seasonal wonder; summer!
I see it coming over yonder... here we go.

Rhymes are perfect. Diction is a little uncertain in some places, like

Could have been remedied with a stop-and-go flow like

Because as fast as these bars are, short-long isn't gonna do them justice. Maybe revisit this flow with that in mind. Reading through I was almost feeling a 123/123/12 vibe. Listening, you blazed through those rhymes.
Otherwise, I don't know why you're warning us about quality. These bars might not be platinum, but they fiiiiire.

...that's the one bit I really bump my head against the keyboard at, listening to again. XD Stop-and-go flow hmm... solid point. Appreciate the feedback!
As for quality: it's just not very processed. Just a little reverb, pretty much, and very few takes on each, so not perfect balance and such. Personally I feel my voice was pretty weak on this but glad y'all hear it differently! :)
