So, this is one of a dozen of demo pieces I created for a specific project I tried to get a while ago. Because it's just a demo piece it's not very long but I like it enough that I consider taking another go at it one day and extending and seriously polishing it.

Anyway, the theme was pretty much grim thriller with some sci-fi elements. I imagined combat in dark futuristic complexes, all part of some epic struggle. I was trying to balance different themes like technology, struggle and hope in there, ultimately it's a bit of a mash-up of tracks from a number of OSTs I love. I guess what I like least about it is the sound of the cello. It sounds a tad weak and out of place there and is the first thing I'd improve if I ever take another go at it.
