The progression of this track was inspired by an amazing composer on NG, Phonometrologist, and this track is dedicated to his latest addition in their family, a daughter. Congrats my friend. Phonometrologist is an absolutely genius when come to manipulating music and manifesting amazing emotions with them. You should definitely check out his music.
Also this was made in the sense of Christmas music. Something for Xmas, I guess.
This track is best with a headphone.

Not bad, although some of the instruments sound out of place. I didn't really notice it at the beginning of the song, but they're much more apparent around the middle, especially at 2:46 with those screeching strings that sound as if there was too much resin added to their bows :P . I probably wouldn't mind it if those kinds of sounds were either dialed back a little bit or had slightly less volume to them.
The wind instruments were very well done. Great timing and sounds overall.
You mentioned that you were aiming for an xmas sound, but I didn't really get that vibe. Maybe add jingling chimes, bells, or triangles. However, I did kind of get a cold winter vibe from this song.
