Hey guys! Got a new Dylnmatrix track for you all! And this is a free download! It will also be available on iTunes and Spotify Dec. 9th.

This was started at the beginning of last month when I was doodling around in FL during a production session for Equilibria's Seven Lions remix. I feel like I was inspired by the theme to Final Fortress in Sonic Heroes, as I started humming it the moment I finished writing the beginning of the lead melody. Don't know why, but inspiration comes from the weirdest places for me.

Most of this track came during a bad week for me. I was just having bad day after bad day at work and everytime I'd come home and immediately open FL to work on this. I was also having some serious insomnia issues that caused me to be in a constant state of unrest during this, hence the title.

Mastering this was also a pain in my ass, but most of it was due to technical limitations as well as me getting used to the track. I still can't say I'm entirely happy with it, but I feel like I should say it's done now before I end up making it worse by accident. I got the timbre and mixing I wanted, as well as the volume, so I'm calling it done.
