I don't even know what to say about this song except for what is in the short description 8).

One thing I can say about this song is that its main inspiration was Virtual Riot; his melodic style of music is actually really fun to make.

Mixing was insane; I am still trying to work on getting a perfect mix compared to my last songs, yet this song was another 2-day work. That means the mixing might not be the greatest.

However, I am proud to present my new song "Into the Abyss." I hope you enjoy!

This is awesome! You did a lot right - your ideas are great, and the track structure is solid - but the drops disappointed me a bit. The basses didn't feel like they had a sonic spotlight on them. The claps at 0:37 and 2:16 are also a little loud (maybe replace them with snaps?), but still, basically everything other than the drops was perfect as far as I can tell. Awesome!
