Robert Kondo is known for his work on Ratatouille (2007), Monsters University (2013) and The Dam Keeper (2014). He’s an Art Director working for Pixar, Visual Developer and one of the teachers in Schoolism (See the interview with Bobby Chiu). He’s been delighting us with his art in other movies as well such as Toy Story 3, Ice Age, Horton hears a who! and more.
Robert Started without knowing too much about art and was the student who got bad grades on school. He started learning by surrounded himself by other amazing artists in the university and daring to always dream bigger, which got him his job in Pixar. Now he’s founded The Tonko House LLC with Dice Tsutsumi and are creating new movies like the Dam Keeper which push them outside their comfort zones.
