Q- What is a sting?
A- Here's your definition: "A sting, sometimes called a sounder, is a short musical phrase, primarily used in broadcasting and films as a form of punctuation. For example, a sting might be used to introduce a regular section of a show, indicate the end of a scene, or indicate that a dramatic climax is imminent." Hope that helps.
Q- Have I heard this song before?
A- You might have, actually. The name of the original song is called "The Bird and the Worm", and it was done by the alternative rock band known as "The Used", which was formed in 2001 and is still together to this day. The song is track #3 on their third album, "Lies for the Liars", which was released a year or so after their drummer, Branden Steineckert was kicked from the band(he's doing just fine by the way, and wished his old bandmates the best). The song's instrumental was used in the trailer for @Comick's soon-to-be animated series, "In The Dark", which is based off her own ongoing comic of the same name, which is actually how I first learned about the song and the series as a whole.
Q- What program do you use for music?
A- I use FL Studio to make my music, along with VSTs that I collect over time. My favorite one is Church Organ 2nd.
