"I failed you, I'm sorry."

You repeat these words to yourself as you race away from the castle.

Moments ago, you rescued your love from the evil wizard, everything seemed to be going well, but before you could escape the wizard appeared before you both and attacked. She threw herself in the way of a powerful spell, granting you the opportunity to escape.

Now as your body runs forward, your mind flashes back to all the times you two shared.

"I failed you, I'm sorry."

Hey, That's Vile! here.

This was my first attempt at 8-bit styled music, and rather than create a catchy beat, I tried composing an emotional piece. Not sure if I pulled it off, but it was a blast to make.

I'd say you just about nailed the emotions in the beginning, but after a while the emotions start to sound a bit contradictory to eachother in the melody, but it is still an emotional track. I could definitely hear this in a game! Nice work on the 8-bit theme though! I think you could add in some 8-bit percussion and that wouldn't hurt, but other than that, nice job!

Hey, thanks for the review, man. Appreciate it! I'll try to reinforce one main emotion next time.
