Not bad. The song is out of tune but it has a catchy melody. My tip: try varying the melodies, when a song gets too repetitive, listeners will tune out and also, try quantizing the song, it'll sound much better:)
If you read the title, you could probably tell that I think this song needs a little work, and that would be an understatement. I made this one back in May for an Ableton Live project we were doing in class. The main reason I think this song could use work is the horn patches, but that's the best I could get working within the time constraints I had.
The E-Piano, bass and drum sounds are all stock Ableton ones, the horns are session horns from Kontakt 5 I think, and the guitar is a Les Paul with p90s and is actually recorded on a real amp! Though I still decided to use the same fuzz pedal from "Drone in D." It could use some work, but it's been several months now and I've completely moved on.
