The continuation synthesiser mimicking a flute...it is almost as if it is our very continuous and subconscious breaths. They move forward, almost looping, perhaps messed up when we consider them, but they shall end. We may have our projects occur throughout their duration--projects of complexity and ambition--but they are all to be brought to some slowing down by the halting of the flute. Make what you will, and make of what you will, but your breath shares the same fate as the flute.
