came back to this, forgot how much of a banger this is. the perfect balance between chill and energetic is what I like about this so much.
Hello again!
I made this for the NGUAC after multiple attempts and artists block, but finished it in the end.
Almost all of the sounds I used were made in Serum with the exception of the arp pad (which was made in 3xOsc) and the second sawstack (made in JP6K).
I was going for a really chilled out theme on this one which is why most of the sounds are sine waves with lots of reverb.

Thank you for the feature! I appreciate it <3
Hope you enjoy!

Thanks a lot! Glad that you enjoyed it. I've been experimenting with similar stuff recently so I'll probably make something like this again in the "near" future :)
Perfect for relaxation (except towards the last minute or so) and gives it a nice night time mood, like Xtriua said! :)
I was trying to go for a more relaxing feel on this one, so I'm happy you think that! Glad you liked it :)
I like the atmosphere at the beginning. It has a very dreamy and pensive vibe. Nice and spacious mix and good use of reverb during the first minute or so. It’s rather slow to progress, though, and by 1:20 or so I’m really itching for some more textural fill and melodic content. You have a good sense of harmony and flow, but the piece lacks a strong sense of direction sometimes, as the pacing is very slow. Instead of having a sense of continuity for long stretches of time, I’d suggest doing more with phrasing, dynamic contrast, and filtering. The mixing and mastering is pretty solid, and the sound design is refreshing. My main problem here is that the piece needs more shape and variety. Keep at it, Strykur! ;)

Thanks man! I agree with what you said, I had quite a bit of creative block when making this so I didn't really know what to do with it. I'll take those suggestions on board!
This starts out sound like a forest temple.
Including the actual Forest Temple itself.
Ocarina Of Time version, not the superior Twilight Princess version.
This could even be world music or just play in a specific area of the adventure.
I'm getting a Kingdom Hearst 2 vibe with this.
This does kinda sound like Utada Hikaru's Passion/Sanctuary a bit.
Maybe this could be used as a Gummi Ship route.
Gotta love some Zelda! Awesome :D
Lots of reverb/delay, protruding bass, this would definitely qualify as some good old liquid DnB!
I would suggest increasing the total reverb/delay on all of the instruments individually, or on the send bus if you have one to make it have that much more liquid. Also, a slight decrease in the sidechain level to allow those instruments to break through a tad more would be perfect.
All in all, great job and keep up the good work!
Yeah, gotta love some liquid!
I think some of the sounds could use a bit more reverb, but things like the arp pad were okay. The sidechain was possibly a bit ott as well :)
Thank you!
