Love this. There's an awful lot going on here, and it'll take several more listens to really hear everything. The break in the keys at 1:14 is really nice. I'd love to hear this with some live brass. What are the chances you'll get a performance out of this?

(This song was inspired by military strategy utilizing elements of nature. Particularly, a fire attack, while there was strong winds, would result in increased damage to the enemy. If a strategist knew this they would succeed in battle. However if it was to rain, and a fire attack was to happen, then, of course, the attack would fail.)
I may tweak the mix later. But, I haven't uploaded in a while and don't want to leave everyone hanging.
So we have here.
Drums,
Bass,
Electric Piano/Synth,
Trumpet,
Trombone,
Tenor Sax.
I plan on adding extra percussive elements ie: cowbell, shakers... though I have not gotten around to that quite yet. Totally will. Just not yet.
What's going on? Well, a lot of subdivisions of the beat. Split voicing of the piano and horn writing, some funky bass lines inspired by 70's funk bassists, drumming that just won't quit, and, a little bit of... #inferno

Ay! I see you found my insta bro! I don't know if it was by chance or what. Haha. Thank you dude. Definitely a lot going on with this one. Chances are somewhat high? I have a few pieces in the same style as this one that I plan on uploading in the future though the goal is of course getting a full group for performance. Having a full group even though it's more of a pain to do, there's always those tweaks that you can't adjust if you are tracking separate. But I might talk with some local players and see if they'd be up for a session, not sure when. Thanks again dude!
