I concur with TL on this one and don't have much to add. Great ideas but needs polished. The minimalism and breaks didn't really work well together, and despite pretty good production quality and some daring instrumentation, the execution and composition eventually started to wear on me toward the end. Nevertheless, keep at it!

Hi guys, I know it's late, and I don't mind losing by default or whatever, but I still wanted to at least give you something. You have been invaluable to my progression as a musician, I know I've been quiet last year and this year but I managed to work on something in the little time I had, hope this is acceptable. I'll have the lyrics up when I'm not at work.
EDIT: Here's the lyrics! Luckily this song was mostly finished and unmixed before I hurt my hand, so I was able to mix it at least a little and post it. Love for everyone <3

I like the reverberated guitar and the vocals. Reminds me of a musical in a way. The lyrics themselves are also quite good. Unfortunately, the minimalism was wearing on me after a bit, and I found the atmospheric breaks between the verses (e.x., 1:24) to be a bit out-of-place. The dreamy vibe at 2:04 was a nice shift in pacing, though, and the guitar that mimics the contour of the vocals at 2:30 was a nice touch. The sound design and atmosphere are awesome with this one. The details of the composition are great, too. The arrangement just feels a bit too dragged-out for this one - the pacing is really wonky somehow, and I think the effect of that is exacerbated by the constant minimalism. I think I needed more of an emotional height at some point. The continuity of the piece really wore on me after a while - I think it needed a daring solo or climax to hit it home. The piece doesn’t feel conclusive or climactic at any point, really - like part 1 of a musical number that’s expanded upon in the 2nd act. Overall, this is still really admirable work with the instrumentation and production quality, but I think filling out the texture and maybe consolidating your ideas on this one would serve you well. Keep at it, Kor-Rune. ;)

Wow, this is amazing, Kor-Rune. I really enjoy your voice and your composition skills are on another level. You have so much confidence in drifting seamlessly in an out of various feelings and textures and styles and have it work perfectly together. This piece is 6 minutes long, but it feels both longer and shorter - I remember looking up at one point seeing that it had only run for about 3 minutes, but it felt longer (in a good way, not like "ogodplsend"), just because of how much you had packed into those 3 minutes. I'm super impressed.
