i wonder if you will ever do a remix of hide and seek, considering it is just a vocal. it'd be great to see one haha
I've been tossing the idea around for years, but seeing as nobody's really been able to do well, you'd think that I'd be even more confident, right?
Well, sadly not. It's not performed to a metronome, and beatmapping the entire piece would take a ridiculous amount of time.
Also, I create EDM, usually, and because Hide and Seek is so complex, making something that works to the rules of EDM would be insanely hard.
I'd like to chop it up and work with some of it though! I have midi'd the notes she plays while singing, so I can do something with it perhaps using my own voice and a vocoder? hmm..
Arrival v2 8)
Its really catchy, however I find it less well mastered than the other Imogen Heap remixes you did...this one is very noisy and the synths are always fighting with the vocals, I think maybe EQ the synths a little more to cut out the noisy freqs
You're absolutely right! I had trouble using limiters with FL Studio while making this and have a better understanding of how to pair them with EQ to get a more consistent sound from everything! Sorry for putting this one out before I'd managed to master it properly! I'll try to be less lazy next time! ^^ <3
I'm late but awesome!
Fanks Mooshrum! <3 I need to remake and finish this one! People seem to really like it! :o
Its always really interesting to make music in this way.. when you want to do something with sound but you cant bcz of plugin missin..
Idunno how you made this one but its fantastic
Bad it's not finished yet though
Yeah dude! You can hear how limited I am right now :c It's driving me nuts!
I can't wait until I can get some of my license keys back. D:
Really glad you like this one though! <3
KEEP GOIN' MY BOI!!
Roger that! o7
So pumped to get my VSTs back! I still don't even have 20% of the ones I had..
As soon as I've got more to work with, I'll be streaming my progress on this as I create it! I'll chuck you a PM as soon as I know when that's gonna be!
