Here's a little something I've wanted to try for a while: a Duo Remix. This is a remix of Sound of Infinity AND This Isn't Science Rocket (2015 Edition) put into one song.

Making this remix was DEFINITELY a big jump for me because of how many "firsts" I did here:

- Created my own synths with Serum (Lead, Supersaw chords, ARP, the pitch build synth, the drop lead used for the "This Isn't Science Rocket" drop, AND the growls at the drop)

- Properly made a Heavy drop (at least I hope so)

- Successfully combined two songs into one remix, which I'm not sure is something anyone else has ever done

- Played around with effects a LOT more to improve how it all came out

- Tried more at mixing and automating

Songs Remixed:

Sound of Infinity - F777

This Isn't Science Rocket (2015 Edition) - F777

VSTs Used: Serum, Massive, TAL-Noisemaker, Acoustica (Expanded) Instruments, Messiah

Honestly, if you hadn't said that this was a mashup of existing songs, you would have fooled me into thinking this was its own thing. And it's very well-made too. Definitely another step up from your original mashup style of just combining song segments. This is impressive work!

Enjoyed the song. Mixing is still troubling you. Specifically drums. I would side-chain them still.

Serum synths do sound good, if a little generic, and your transitions are much better. I will say, this is a proper remix and mashup in one. Although I will say people HAVE done this before. It's just quite rare. Look up DJ Earworm, but pat yourself on the back at the same time because you did more than just creatively mix up a bunch of stems.

Once you get mixing and mastering down, you'll be a fine EDM producer. We all start somewhere. :)
