Had some last minute inspiration for Pico Day.
Dedicated to all the great musicians here. I feel privileged for having to listen to some of the great tracks exclusively for the portal over the years here.

great piece. worthy of gracing the surf of Radioland.

its incomplete though. the short time is the only thing not allowing me to give you all my lovely stars.
could you also add download? it would be a great shame if this died of link rot

overall though, best last minute work ever

Phonometrologist responds:

I disable my downloads so I can keep track to who uses my music for their projects. I often find my music being used without being notified, and I would simply like to know. My music is offered freely for non-commercial projects, and so check your messages for the download link.
Thank you for commenting.

On my gosh... This is the most beautiful thing I've ever herd on newgrounds! Keep it up!

Phonometrologist responds:

That's very kind of you to say. Glad you enjoyed it.

This is really good,Like you're opening a portal to a techno wilderness land,or like you're visiting Newgrounds when it was a thing in your childhood,Its really good, man, its almost heartwarming,Good going bro, keep on making good music.
Ex.

Phonometrologist responds:

lol techno wilderness land is a good description. Thank you for listening

This sounds really epic, and i think it could be used in a movie! Good job on this one! :)

I like the mood at the beginning. The effect at :04 seemed a little out-of-place and overly electronic when compared to the bright, organic, and contemplative sound of the rest of the piece. The piece definitely has a powerful overtone to it. Great job making this piece climactic and emotional throughout, and I love the dissonance you start to throw in there at around 1:25. The loop is flawless. Overall fantastic work! ;D

Phonometrologist responds:

You have good ears. Thanks for sharing your thoughts on it. Any "out-of-place" moments that one may feel can be correlated to just how fluent the writing process was for this as I spent an evening writing it. Sometimes to think less in terms of editing helps the creative flow. "First thought, best thought."-Allen Ginsberg
