The pacing and instruments used just make me think of undertale. Awesome job!
Wow really? I really like some of the music from undertale so thanks for the compliment!
This is a very creative composition indeed. I'm saying composition, because the song, as it sounds now, can do with some polishing. The synths you used are very dry. Maybe add some more FX, like reverb or delay. Also the mixing is not that good. Throughout the whole track the drums are muffled, and I can hear some synths clash. Around 2:33 I thought: "wait, I didn't hear that bass the whole time" Or my ears are being funny, or that's a mixing problem. I think mixing is the main issue with this track, but apart from that, and the 1:42 part that's not really carefully automated (volumewise), I believe this track has the perfect feel to it, and the composition again... It's mental, so many notes, so much power.
As always my reviews may seem negative, but that's so that you can improve.
I hope that helped, and I hope to hear more from you.
Someone who's terrible at mixing lol
Yea thanks man. It's just those things you don't realize yourself until you post it am I right! I've even heard a few things myself that I didn't hear before, and I hope to update it this week.
Here are me thoughts: I really liked this, but I feel like some of the instruments clash with each other, and can get a crazy. For example, at like 1:20, you have too many instruments playing different things at the same time. The piano feels unnaturally loud compared to everything else. Also, the sound glitches out at 1:40, you may want to fix that. On a positive note, I love the vibe this has, and the chord progressions that you used.
Yea I know sometimes it clashes but it goes with the feel of the song. And yep I totally know what you mean by the spot at 1:20, ill try and fix that haha. Oh and at 1:40 it is suppose to do that. Thanks for the tips!
Please contact me if you would like to use this in a project. We can discuss the details.
