best song of all the ones I've heard of yours! also saw a comment saying it sounded like boomkitty and I believe that person was referencing the song burning sands. also could definitely see this song in something like beat sabre.
This is part of my 16 track album, Vintage Powered!

I checked out Burning Sands! You're right, I can see the similarity haha!
It's possible my influence for this at the time was the artist SOLTAN: https://soundcloud.com/soltansound/tracks
I have a newer track that also pulls from that area of influence, if you like this sort of thing!

I'm picturing a Cyber Pyramid and high tech Egyptian godlike entities.
Great production! The main synths are very synergetic and complement each other perfectly.
The melodies are engaging and the EDM / Oriental combo is very fresh!
Great track!
Hey thanks!
Man you have a lot of great positive feedback. That's very kind of you to show that kind of support for everyone here on NG. :)
I like your vision here, haha, and I totally like the combo as well! It's always interesting hearing those different cultures integrated into EDM. I think Soltan is a good example of that with Middle Eastern melodies, for example.
WoaH so qUiRkY
Happy you like it, ItzMeQuirkey :}
This kind of melody reminds me so much of boomkitty but this has much more weirdness in it:)
Hm, was there a track in particular you were referencing? It'd be interesting to see the similarities!
(Also, sorry I forgot to reply when you posted!)
I like the fun middle-east themed melody and distorted percussion and synths in the background. The texture here is super engaging and fun. I like how you left a lot of sub-bass frequencies in that kick, too. Some more stereo widening wouldn’t hurt to just give the kick a little more clarity during some of the busier sections. At some point, I would’ve liked you to tone down the distorted background synths and offer some structural contrast energy and dynamics-wise, but overall the structure and variety in the piece are quite enjoyable. Very unique and catchy piece. Well done!
9.25/10
Thanks so much for another incredibly detailed and nice review. I have no idea how you have time to do all this work in such a short time!
The review is helpful because it shows how I might go about improving production quality in specific ways.
Maybe next year I'll get through auditions :D
Take care my man. Hope you stay well during the event!
Please contact me if you would like to use this in a project. We can discuss the details.
