Another song with strings, this time with some articulation and a strange ending just for fun.

I did what I could with the string articulation but they still sound kind of messy at parts. Hopefully I can figure out how to clean them up for my next song

Kontakt factory strings
Imperfect samples Fazioli Grand piano
Cakewalk Dimension Pro for the rhodes piano

It was really good, 9/10 i loved it, i didnt like the ending that much tho.

This song is absolutely beautiful. I love the eerie feel to it and then the calming end. It sounds like a song you'd hear in a movie when the characters find some sprt of mystery to solve. :D

Imma just make a Geometry Dash level...
...right now...

I really liked this piece. And what you said about the strings in my opinion doesn't take away from the song. I really focus on the different instruments, chord progressions, overtures, etc, and it seemed to all fit together despite the quirky ending. The only thing I would change about the ending is to change the staticky sound to something else like a sinister sine bass but other than that i think it was a great piece! If you have time, too, could you tell me what you think of my pieces? I'm not very experienced with FL so any feedback good or bad would help a ton! Thanks :)

Thanks for the review. I'll check out your stuff

Wouldn't this be just perfect for a sci-fi scenario? I'm picturing a fancy ball with a man and his wife, enjoying the night and the dancing. As the scene goes on, things start to get fragmented - he sees things start to crack and splinter, but only at the edge of his vision. However, it isn't long until the entire ballroom starts to shake apart, until finally he's forced to wake. It's then we learn that he was in an illusion pod, reliving a memory of his departed wife.

In short: tragic beauty. I love it.

Interesting, I like it. I can't think up any specific scenarios when I write music, just general moods, so it's nice to read this type of comment.
